Starting with the weather: it was as beautiful as it could be in September. Bright sunshine, calm and temperatures up to 20deg! We arrived on Friday afternoon at the contest site and started building up antennas immediately. Due to several commitments we were short of people (only 4 for building and 3 for operating), so only small setup this time:

2x 2M12 8m Geroh tower
1x 2M5WL 6m Geroh tower
1x 2M5WL 6m 70mm alu mast

Surprisingly, all antenna systems were ready and measured as OK already on Friday evening so that we could have a relaxed dinner and discussions until very late in the evening. On Saturday the rest of works was easy going, we were fully operational more than 1 hour before the contest starts and could enjoy the excellent conditions to GM.

Contest itself was running so smooth, it has been a great pleasure for all of us:

not the slightest technical problem + good conditions  = lots of callers & lot of fun.

Conds were remaining good dir UK until Sunday mornining, which resulted in:

50x G  (2019: 33)
3x GD (2019: 0)
4x GI (2019: 0)
22x GM (2019: 0)

On Sunday no more big DX found its way into the log but some QSOs >1000km were still made. Rates remained high until the last hour which kept us quite busy all the time. Although we did not have big expectations, it was again nice to folllow the race at slovhf live scoring board: congrats to SN7L for scratching the 600.000 points!

We ourseleves had never excpected to cross the 1000 QSOs / 400.000 points border with this small setup & team but sometimes dreams become true :-)
